Stephen Dorff would have turned 14 in 1987. He only looks about 10 or 11 in this.

It wasn't filmed in '87. Sometime in '86.

Yeah. It says 1986 in the end credits. Awesome closing theme as well. This movie rocks. Hope Alex Winter's 3D remake doesn't tarnish it's rep.

If it weren't for physics (and law enforcement) I'd be unstoppable.

I read an article about this movie on this social news site. It was filmed several years before release. http://www.youarenews.com

well some kids look much younger than they are. my brother was short and tiny and by the time he started high school, compared to all of the other students he looked like a much younger kid. he probably looked closer to my age at the time and he's about 5yrs older than me.

so if it wasn't released late, its possible he's just one of those kids.
