Anyone saw this in theaters as a kid?

I also saw it in the theater when it came out... But I was 18. Thought it was pretty cool then...
I just revisited this film again this evening... It's kinda "Goonie-ish" isn't it?

oh yes...a good triple bill would be this, Goonies and The Monster Squad. i'd suggest starting with Goonies and ending with The Gate...this way you go from nice family time fun to creepy old school horror to "full on" kids horror by the end!
