i have not seen the first House movie, but happen to receive House-II DVD as a prize at a local party / fest.
Anyways, being a horror fan, I would really like to know if the two movies are related?
and am I gonna understand (and more importantly enjoy) watching House-II without having watched the first part.
Any help would be appreciated....
Not really related to "House" at all. The tagline was "A whole new house with all new owners". That being said, I always dug "House II: The Second Story". But it's fantasy/adventure, even comedy, instead of horror. Although the original had some of these elements, the tone of the sequel is definately different. Go with the flow and it's a fun movie, I think.
shareYou can watch House 2 without watching the first one. They have nothing in common besides the name. All actors, characters, even the house itself is totally different.
I will say however, that although it looks like a horror movie, House 2 is actually a comedy geared more towards kids. There is nothing really horrific in it.
The first one on the other hand is more of a quirky horror comedy.
Neither one is all that good, but they can be fun.
