Watching now - "Jump Scene" and "Pool Death" / first comment on Movie Chat

Just trying this out - is it as good as IMDB? Hope so - IMDB should be ashamed...no longer going to their site for anything...well at least trying not to.

So anyway - anyone notice the jump scene the hand cuffs are totally disconnected when they 'leap' off the building for the guy who was attempting suicide?

Then - honestly did anyone ever see a pool cover so poorly made out of life suffocating plastic?

ok - cheers!

Hoping more people will hear about this alternative to IMDB...

I remembering reading that they were stunt handcuffs -- made specifically to break apart so when the stuntmen landed they wouldn't rip their arms out. I know they probably didn't have all the CGI back then to go in digitally and fix, but still kinda surprised they didn't redo the scene... unless they didn't even notice.

Been awhile since my last viewing, so can't really remember what the pool cover was like exactly.

I thought the plastic was good . They didnt mamange to tear any of it to try get the guy out - which you wouldnt , if it waqs anything thicker than the bag you put tomatoes in at the supermarket. Even your average shower curtasin would be to strong to tear a guy out of underwater.
