I saw this film for the first time the other day. I was dead tired from a wacky schedule and have been thinking about it today. Again, I was very tired so I’m sure I missed some stuff that would’ve been blatantly obvious if I were wide awake.

Questions:

The old priest dying in the beginning - what was in the box? A key to the area where the canister was? I do not know why I can’t remember.

The transmission (or shared dream) came from the future from Catherine, right? I see there's 4 pages of threads but it's too long to go through and the few I've glanced at are just people joking.

Kelly was 'possessed' by the Prince of Darkness at the end - but who was possessing the others? Just evil? Like an army of the dead?

Was it ever explained or even said that mirrors were a gateway to the dark world?
