I still get qualms about watching this flick.

Admittedly, I first saw it when when I was relatively young and impressionable, but still, contemplating watching The Exorcist doesn't give me half the heebie-jeebie level JCPoD does.

I've seen so much these days that this film doesn't really get under my skin anymore, but it was scary and unsettling back in its day. I remember that creepy feeling when I would sit down to watch it. I still enjoy it, but I am somewhat jaded these days and things like this don't get under my skin the way they used to.

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?

The guy is like, "let's get coffee," then immediately it shows them waking up after getting their freak on.

Same here, the film scarred me for life. Quantum Physics and Theology are now terrifying.

I agree, but I think PoD has a grimy, dirty feeling about it. It definitely worked to scare the crap out of me when I was younger. Sadly the movie isn't that great overall but it kept me awake at night for a while. When I learned about the chapel and the actors in the movie it was humanised too much to have that effect on me anymore.
