I know it's a late reply but the bike in question is a '85 or '86 Honda Shadow 700. If you look close when they show the gauge cluster and the indicator lights it even says 'Shadow'

It is not an 85 or 86 model, it is definitely a 1987 Honda shadow VT700C. The reason being is that the 1986 Shadow shows "fuel" on the instrument cluster, as opposed to the "shadow" shown on the 1987 model. The one thing that puzzles me is the fact that Honda only had two colors to chose from in 1986 or 1987, it was either black or candy brilliant red for 1986, or black or candy glory red for 1987. The one shown in the movie was gray, so this would lead you to believe that this particular bike was repainted. The reason I stand behind what I have written is because, I have both a 1986 and a 1987 Shadow.
