"You call this a glitch"

I mean what is he supposed to say? What else would you call it?

reply

Thick carpet. The carpet was so thick that ED-209 did not hear the gun drop. However, we hear it so it is assumed that ED-209 heard it. Jones has to come up with something so his project isn't canceled.

reply

How about “don’t use live ammunition during a demonstration”

reply

Jones was doing everything about ED-209 on the cheap, not even going to the trouble to manufacture blank ammo for what was most likely a proprietary cartridge design.

reply

Or unload it.

reply

"Don't test in production.".

reply

The implication was it was much more then just a little glitch. Some one just got killed right before they were expecting the product to go to launch.

reply

A disaster? A catastrophe? A tragedy?

"Someone want to call a goddamn paramedic"

Uhhh how about calling the morgue.

reply

Well, it is set in the future.
When Robocop and Ed209 are possible. Not nowadays.
Even with Murphy, hours after all that shooting, they try to save him.
This one is right after shooting, and in the headquarters.

We have such shit medicine that, once dead, it is over.
I want to hope that soon enough we will have ways to fix a brain for being dead for a day or two.
All the other parts are tinkertoys.
