That little scene was sooo well done. I think it was the music and the amazing performance from both actors. It was such a moving scene in a brilliant comedy.

I thought it was great, too. It was a real human moment - what we prize vs. what is valuable.

It was ironic, too, that Crystal's character was one trying to work through writer's block when all the craziness started, and in the midst of the craziness was this moment of humble profundity.

I thought it was well done too, it went from funny to beautiful and touching in a second. One of the highlights of the movie for sure.

Absolutely agree. I was looking for a photo of that scene online this morning to illustrate a point about value. Surprised I couldn't find one.

It's a very moving scene - didn't really see it coming.

What makes it so effective is DeVito and Crystal's wonderful acting. I mean, DeVito and Crystal in a comedy? The last thing that comes to mind is a scene like this. DeVito, of course, was different in this than he is in most comedies and he did a brilliant job. That scene amazingly stood out in a movie where Momma stole the show for the most part.

So agree that it was well done. It was such a lovely moment between the actors and I love random moments like that because you don't see it coming. It's just a nice surprise.
