I thought Danny was pointless, and his way of speaking creepy to the extent I shut the sound off when he speaks.

You will probably enjoy the film 'Pirate Radio' in which Ralph Brown, aka 'Danny', reprises his former Withnail character (actually isn't not a true reprisal, but more an inspired rendition) in his portrayal of an older, drug out pirate radio dj.
shareCheck out Wayne’s World 2. Brown effectively reprises the role as ‘Del Preston’, and he’s even funnier than Danny. Sacrilege I know.
