That is a very fond review of a film that earns devoted affection from its fans. He's spot on about how each actor embraces their role especially Grant whose portrayal of Withnail surpasses being just another 'comic drunk' as Ebert writes. He also quotes certain lines from Marwood that just remind me of how rich the script dialogue is; it rivals Miller's script for the Misfits - such a fine use of words.
