It's off putting and creepy. Even Tom Hanks' face on the poster seems skeevy

As a kid in the 80's I thought this was funny. Need to rewatch it again.

yes i agree i never think this film is very good. it is film that manipulate you. it is modlin and saccarine. trys too hard to make audience feel thing at certain time. does not feel natural.

i prefer hanks when he make more edge film in 80s like bachelor partys and burbs. this film was sign of things to come for hanks going on to make cheesy manipulate film in 90s.

big is written by steven spielberg sister anne. so she try and write a film like steven and make it all cheesy and manipulate audience except brother steven do it right in ET while this does not.
