Best movie of all time.

I have to say that this and the Thing and Timebomb are the best movies of all time.

Wulf is glad you feel that way. I have to disagree with you about best movie of all time though. I really like the movie and very much like actually playing the game amongst like minded individuals is Brisbane Australia.

A bit Mad Maxish...not a bad movie but I have to say that I think this movie would be much better if they would release a better copy of it. I have it on DVD and the picture and sound quality aren't very good.

I think the picture and sound are partially bad because this is a "B Movie". This has got to be my favorite low budget movie ever.

reply

The picture and sound are significantly better in the 2008 Region 2 release of the original uncut version under the title Salute of the Jugger.

(If you're not in Region 2, you can probably play it anyway by making your DVD player region-free: http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks/.)

not the best movie ever, but this and 13th warrior are my favorite movies of all time. this movie is amazing. ive been watching it since i was lucky enough to catch it on cable as a kid. i waited years to see it again because i didnt know what it was called so had no way of looking for it. i paid $30 for a vhs copy of it about 10 years ago because it was all i could find. love this movie!

I wouldn't call this movie the best film of all time, but it's definitely still a very fine and affecting cinematic ode to the human spirit which makes a profound statement about man's basic need for achievement.
