I noticed for the first time that Ernest's first passenger did. I figured it was because it's Orlando, and it's warm, and people want snow.

Yeah, I'm thinking it's just hot as hell in Florida and no matter where or what scene they are filming they can't get out of the heat. If you notice at one point or other every actor has either a 'glowing' face or flat out sweat rolling down their faces.
I think it makes the film even more endearing to me. Can't say why, but it does.
