I saw it. It was good. Surprised he didn't point out the fact that Santa goes the whole movie saying he's Santa Claus, then at the end, says his real name is Seth Applegate.

He'd rather spend time in the pokey then just say his name?

Although I was never into Ernest movies, I have to say that this movie is tolerable (at least around the Christmas time) at best. The review is pretty good although I like the Star Wars Holiday Special one better :-)

Can't wait for Ah-Nuld month!

haven't watched the review but will be checking it out a bit later. But why would he mention that? He was Santa Claus until he transferred his power. He says something along the lines, "my name once was.. I suppose it is again." Even earlier in the movie he mentioned the fact that he is clearly not the original Santa Claus, and he'd only had the job for the last 100 years (since 1885 I want to say).

You'd think an Ernest movie would be hard to review (they're not great movies, but somehow tolerable) but this turned out to be pretty decent. Although the NC's constant improv of Santa's lines was a bit annoying.

R.I.P. Jack Skellington, Superman and the dignity of Hollywood producers.

Now I have three sequels. Ho ho ho.

I've always liked the Ernest movies, and this one is no different than the others. Jim Varney is hilarious as always and Douglas Seale made a good Santa Claus. I'm glad that the NC even likes it himself. It is sort of stupid funny, but it's my type of humor. Can't wait for Schwarzenegger month!

And, BTW, the name IS Santa Claus.

I probably like GOES TO CAMP better than SAVES CHRISTMAS honestly. Maybe cause Iève seen it more. SCARED STUPID is best though, he should review that.

I loved it when Ernest crashes into Superman. That was funny.

Also agree that Scared Stupid is the best out of the Ernest movies.
