Why does Jason look like a Skeletor reject when his mask is taken off? I know he had a deformed head and face when he was alive, but in Part 7 he looks like a Skeletor/Lizard monster mix.

This is a very stupid question and I hope you're trolling. Obviously it's due to the fact that he's been DEAD and buried for a few years between Parts 4 and 6 where he would decompose, and then all that time he spent in the water between Parts 6 and 7 which would really mess him up. DUH.

Isn't is obvious that he is rotten as hell in this? Look at all the bones showing in his back. Not only he was dead for quite a while, but he was also down in the water.
I thought Jason's rotting skeletal visage in this film was quite creepy and unsettling.
