I can't believe it took me this long to realize this...

When Ludwig bites the hotdog and spits out a ring and finds a finger I thought it was just a joke about the poor quality of meat used to make hotdogs. A fine joke.

Watching it today though I finally connected the fact that when the guy falls into toxic waste at the slaughterhouse/toxic waste dump we see a shot of his hand with a ring on one finger.

It kind of blew my mind that I never put two and two together.

Not too worry. I'm pretty sure it wasn't until I watched it a few times over that I come to notice. That's what makes this comedy film so brilliant, is that there was so much logical fun made of pertinent current events and so on, that we had years worth of humor to dissect. Something I noticed in that movie also, was near the end, where everyone decided to make up and hug in envy of F Drebin and P Presley. I hope I phrased that right, lol. But the part I'm thinking of, is where a man in a turban and another man in what appeared to be Jewish attire hugged. I thought it had to symbolize something, but it was my dad who pointed it out, "a Jew and an arab".

And that said, for that reason alone, they should play this movie on big screens throughout Israel and Gaza. Perhaps it could offer the glimmer of hope needed, to bring peace and stability to that region.

"is where a man in a turban and another man in what appeared to be Jewish attire hugged"

It's making light of the Israel/Palestine feud that's been going on for decades.
