Watch Siskel and Ebert's original review available on youtube. They point out the same thing. Ebert even says at the theater he saw it at people started calling out "Carol Anne, Carol Anne." They were right, Poltergeist 3 isn't a great movie. But believe it or not, and this undoubtedly come from having seen it at such a young age, I like it the best of the lot. Poltergeist had the potential of being one of the best haunted house films ever made but lost it in it's attempt to make an effects picture. Poltergeist 3 is from the effects mold set by the first two so it's already bad which to me makes it better. Yeah, I know that doesn't make any sense. : )

My idea works better. How about you drink an entire bottle of Jaegermeister for each time you actually WANT to watch this theatrical diarrhetic.

I had a similar notion when I watched it the other night. Take a shot whenever Tom Skerrit says something dumb and follows it up with that dorky smile.
