Is Trautman a Ghost/Angel
It's almost like God has sent an Angel pretending to be Trautman to persuade Rambo to keep fighting. He senses Rambo has given up but knows he is to powerful of a weapon for combating evil to just retire. Notice how Trautman gives up pretty much without a fight and is easily captured by the Russians. He knows this is they only way Rambo will enter this fight.
You also have the line "God will have mercey. He won't". Rambo is pretty much a ressurected Samson in this movie.
