One of Arnold's weaker films though he does give one of his more understated performances in it. Ed O'Ross is surprisingly intimidating as the villain. But it's really not that interesting and it's definitely not a comedy.
shareTo each his own. I love this movie. You gotta love Arnold in this as a stoic, no nonsense Russian cop. I find it actually more interesting and funnier film than his Raw Deal for example. This one has plenty of humor and memorable action scenes. But I gotta admit that if you’re Russian then you got more going for you in this film. Since Arnold speaks Russian here with a huge accent and it’s hilarious if you understand it. James Horner also scored this film as well and his Commando’s steel drum motif makes a nice cameo to the ears in some scenes.
