The scene when Frank sees a teenaged version of Calvin in a mental asylum sitting there alone in a padded room and Frank looking really sad at him, it is really sad and depressing, also when Frank is being burned alive inside his casket.

Actually not in a cellar. Lots of those in New York. If you look up, you can see the street. He essentially was outside in the freezing cold.
