I could have sworn this movie had this classic song. Maybe sung by Buster Poindexter (I know he did it with Sigourney Weaver on SNL.)
Anyway, it's not listed in the movie's soundtrack.

I've seen this dozens of times and don't recall it on the soundtrack.
I seem to recall a few years back watching it again and not hearing the song I expected. I'm just wondering if it was in some edit somewhen and got removed later, or if I'm thinking of a completely different movie. Heck it's far back enough that I guess I could have conflated the movie and the SNL appearance. But I don't think so.

Maybe an old VHS copy or an early DVD will have it. A lot of times there are edits made later that are not identified as, say, "director's cuts" etc.
Yeah, I wish there were a publicly available versioning resource for films. I'm really tired of seeing all these oddly edited versions of everything.
