Johnny 5 called me on my birthday

So I was in grade school when the Short Circuit movies came out, and I was obsessed with them. Especially the second one. My dad produced commercials for Leo Burnett in Chicago and worked with Tim Blaney, the man that voices J5, on a commercial. So he had him call me for my...probably 10th bday. The best part was, I had gotten a Casio SK-1 Sampling Keyboard as a gift, and when I told Johnny that, he said "My cousin was a Casio!!"

WOW!!! I'm impressed!!! How did the audio fidelity come across over the phone - did he sound like he does in the movies? Did he speak in broken English? Did he do any impressions? Did he use the word "input"? What else did he have to say? Do you happen to know what commercial Tim Blaney was working on? I'd love to track in down!!

Honestly, I don't remember much about it other than the Casio remark. I think it was fairly brief cuz I was pretty shy about it. From what I recall, he sounded pretty much just like he does in the movies, but it's been like 21 years. I have no idea what the commercial would have been but at that time seems like my dad worked on a lot of McDonalds, ERA Plus, and United Airlines.
