Perhaps it's one of the best children's movies. I rated it 8 for this reason. However,had I watched it for the very first time at age 21, I would have given it a 5. But I remembered how great it was to watch as a kid.

It doesn't come close to movies such as American Beauty, The Matrix and Forrest Gump just to name a few of my favorites...

I think its really entertaining, the ending is the funniest ever when he's chasing that old man.

one of the greatest PG films for sure! although i think i liked the original short curcuit a little bit better; i'd give Short Curcuit 9/10 and short curcuit 2 8/10 but thats just my opinion.
