“Extras” in region 2 version = totally false advertising

I really like this movie, but does anyone else think the UK, Region 2 version packaging is somewhat misleading? The "making-of documentary" is about 5 minutes of cast clips and NOTHING to do with how the movie was actually /made/!

I was expecting them to show some neat things like how the robot was controlled/puppeteered and made! I bought this DVD on the strength of the documentary and I would feel cheated if it was not so inexpensive!

Also, the trailers listed as “extras” aren't even for this movie! Most movies show a few nicely edited ones of the FEATURE to show how it was advertised at the time.

Hi mate, I have the region 4 version here in Australia and it's exactly the same. The extras menu says it's a "Fisher Stevens Profile / Making of Short Circuit 2" documentary and I laughed when I saw that. I knew it was going to be crap. What a rip off, and yeah, no trailers for the actual film you bought. Ridiculous.

MIke.

Yeah..I've got the R2 edition, and the lack of Extras is rubbish..and yes, those that are there are false advertising :(

What'll probably happen is in a few years, an "Ultimate Edition" will be relesased, with all the missing extras :( (like Blade Runner)

Doubtful. Part Ones get all the glory. Part Twos & on from the 80s get barebones. (Short Circuit, Karate Kid, Ghostbusters, etc.)
