Filming Locations
The opening sequence was filmed at the intersection of Mitchell Street and Forsythe Street in downtown Atlanta Georgia. The dump truck drives north on Forsythe street and turns left into the little alleyway which is still there but blocked now by a fence. The wall where "ANGELA IS BACK" was painted now has a huge gator painted on it. Up until recently the wall was still white like in the movie. I always thought it would have been funny if any hardcore Sleepaway fans would have spraypainted "ANGELA IS BACK" in red paint over the years.
