When the show got way too far fetched

I think it all started with Steve inventing Urkelbot in season 3 but anyone can build a robot I guess. I think it started getting crazy when Steve invented his cool juice and turned into Stefan for the first time in season 5. Then he built the transformation chamber and by season 7 it got nuts. Nothing compared to season 8 though, when he built a teleportation pad and a bleeping TIME MACHINE. So around season 5 it started getting too far fetched?

Him turning into Stefan was a bit far fetched, but the show explained that he rearranged his molecules or something like that using scientific means. What really got stupid was Stefan and Steven becoming two different people. That was beyond dumb. I can kind of buy Steve rearranging his molecules using scientific means(or whatever he did to become Stefan) but even as a child(okay, teen) I remembered thinking Stefan and Steve shouldn't have become two separate people.

Drake is repetitive. He just raps the same thing over and over as if he is in an insane asylum!LOL:D

In fairness, the overarching 'universe' that the show resides in is one of 'over the top' happenings. Let us remember, this show shares the same diverse continuity as Sabrina the Teenage Witch (magic), Meego (space aliens), and Best Friends Whenever (time travel).

Considering the company the show keeps, we should be surprised that it was as grounded as it was.

For me it was the chamber that would give you the attrbutes of a famous person. All one needs for this transformation to occur is a lock of their hair, and Steve happened to have a binder full of those hair locks, even from celebrities who were long dead. I guess Jaleel wanted an excuse to do his Elvis Presley impression and fight like Bruce Lee.

It became more like a Back to the future series.

There's a huge difference if something fantasy is in the premise from the start vs. a show about a normal family that throws fantasy elements in suddenly in later seasons. We didn't sign up for that.

Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that I'll be over here looking through your stuff.

Oh,that's why I said it BECAME more like a Back to the Future tv series but the difference was like you said this was a family sitcom originally not a sci fi or fantasy series from the start.

Hm... I don't remember hearing that this show was in the same universe as "Sabrina". What is the proof of that?

I got tired of the show by 1993. To have Steve still pursue Laura the same way was getting a little annoying. He should've just gave up doing that.
