Pretty obvious
that even though the map at the beginning showed their neighborhood to be in middle America, it was clearly the Universal back lot. Even when they're in the backyard, you can see the hills past the fence.
sharePlus they're in the same neighborhood as the Munster's House (being used as Ricky Butler's house).
