What is in Ricky's hand?

I never realized before but Ricky has something very conspicuous in his hand in the last scene as Tom Hanks tells him to take care of the neighborhood. Anyone know what it is?

pizza

Maybe. But my current theory is that there was a scene where Hanks gives Ricky the keys to his house but that it was cut out.

reply

Your theory is nonsense. Why would Ray give Ricky the keys to his house?

pizza duuuude!

That's how they get you! They're under the goddamn ground!

I just finished watching the movie and it is a slice of of pizza in Ricky's hand.

I'm not gonna shoot you unless I have to. And if I have to I'll feel really bad about it.

reply

Yea it's pizza, in the alternative ending he takes a bit out of it

reply

Hmm, I always thought it was money. You know, Ray told him to look after the neighborhood while he was gone, and he was all like, "of course Mr. Peterson", so maybe Ray gave ham a bit of money to do so.

But if it is pizza, it's probably the weirdest slice I've ever seen in my life.

All these voices in my head, and not a single one I understand.

"Pizza Duuuude!" when the pizza's fell out , has to be the funniest line in the movie.

reply

No, it looks like a perfectly normal slice of pizza. He's just not holding it by the crust.

It's pretty clearly a slice of pizza.

Pizza always seemed to look horrible in 80s movies
