shareThat line is classic. The first time I saw The Burbs I remembered thinking the same thing and then Bruce Dern just says it. Hilarious! I personally love "Hey Pinocchio where are you going?" when he chases down Hans who's dressed in literhosen. Haha

shareI saw this movie when I was 8, so of course I thought he was old then. Like thinking Julia Roberts was a grown woman when I was 9. I'm proud that he's been able to continue his career for so long and been nominated for Awards since then.
Everything he says in this film is classic. It makes great use of every actor in this movie. It is one of the definitive 80s movies.
