Question regarding US DVD

Hi. Can anybody tell me what the DVD quality is like? I'm from England I don't want to buy the UK DVD because I've heard that the quality and sound is bad and because I have a regions free DVD player I was thinking of getting Best of the Best 1-2 on Region 1. Thanks

The quality is quite good. Now not the highest but for the price its very good & hopefully we get a BD release down the road.
