John Dye/Virgil has passed away.

I was on his IMDB page and it was announced that he died yesterday (Monday).

It's nearly impossible to find any news on this. In fact, I did a "News" search for "John Dye" on Google and nothing turned up. The only link I found was on his IMDB board, posted by another user.

Neither his wiki nor his IMDB page have been updated to show him as deceased either. According to that article it's been 36 hours since his death. I know he wasn't an A-list actor, but his death should provoke more interest than this. I almost wonder if it's an error? Many celebes have been reported dead in the press only to be found alive and well.

If he has died, that's 2/5 of the "Best of the best" team that have passed away.

EDIT

I found one more article. It doesn't give any more details on the cause of death, but it says that "a memorial service is being planned.".

It's just really hard to believe that an actor of his profile could die in the internet age and the news not spread faster than this.

R.I.P.

I just read that. So sad!! A fatal heart attack at 47. Inconceivable. :(

RIP Virgil. You were definitely faster without the beard.
