just finished watching the film, i rate it 8/10 ABSOLUTELY AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!!
i just loved how conventional hollywood the story was and was so deeply american made with its dramatic downfalls time and time again, and the avenging for loved ones, sexy teacher, red neck bar fights, motorbike dramatics scene etc.

since the beginning i thought USA would win, when Korea win i was abit put off, but then the principle i loved of how USA got the medals and truely won but Korea won by there skill and tradition i guess..
the only things i would have liked to make the film 10/10 is some sex/relationships to give it some fun, and we never saw the guy give his son the medal on which he promised he would give him ?
anyway i reccomend watching this great 80's american martial arts film !
It's a film that takes me back to my childhood. It is cheesy, it hasn't dated well, but what an enjoyable movie!
