i m planning to watch this. but who's the main character who does all that kicking?

The main character is Alex Grady, played by Eric Roberts. The guy that you're asking about is probably the character of Tommy Lee, played by Philip Rhee.

does eric roberts perform good kicks?

I think that I'd call them adequate more than good. Rhee is a trained martial artist, I imagine that Roberts received some training for the film, but I wouldn't say that he a practicing martial artist. This is wholly my opinion, I could be wrong......
