This movie puts me in fear for humanity

The fact that this piece of excrement ever got made at all is a bit scary but hey, it's Hollywood so...

The fact that so many people out there actually have watched it frightens me a bit more. I realize that there's no accounting for taste and that many people simply have none but still...

But the fact that so many people seem to have LIKED this movie truly terrifies me, it could very well signal the coming of the four horsemen!

So while maybe in the minority here (thank god!) let me point out that; the two Corey's may possibly be the worst actors who've ever been hired to act, anywhere, in anything. And I'm including Pia Zadora and Kristen Stewart in that statement!

And that this "movie" had a plot apparently written by a twelve year old on some serious meds, if you could follow it at all seek help immediately, I mean it.

Finally, that the scene in the gym was possibly one of the worst, most painful things that's ever been put on film, anywhere, by anyone with the possible exception of the Nazis. I felt so bad for Meredith Salinger that I wanted to send her a mourning bouquet of flowers...and some cash.

And before anyone responds with "why do you bother coming on here to comment when you didn't like the movie" my answer is that I didn't just NOT like this movie, I think this movie is an abomination against all that is good and right in the world and I came on here to say that because damn it, someone had to!

Settle down. Some people have the same reaction to Stanley Kubrick's movies. The movie is definitely weird. But it doesn't pretend not to be, and that's part of the charm :)

It also heavily relies on the zeitgeist at the time - rarely movies capture this because they're worried about aging. Terminator, Gangs Of New York, they capture the culture of a specific moment in time exceptionally well too. But if you're not into zeitgeist movies, you're going to be turned off.

Every movie today fits into a genre. You need an open mind to watch this, it doesn't fit into any genres.

The fact that speak in nothing but hyperbole makes your opinion worthless

Good thing you don't HAVE to watch it :) My fear for humanity goes a hell of a lot more deeper than movie watching.
