how did he get to new york?

The people escaped on the boat and luckily managed to row to newyork and as soon as they set foot on the docks Jason turns up.
I know by this point all logic and plausability are well and truely out of the window but it does insult our intelligence a bit.

Jason followed them.

I think he caught up and hung on to the back of the boat. Better question...how did the dog get down the ladder?

he probably just swam...dont forget that Jason originally drowned in the water..a bunch of times. but still came back to life...so he must be able to breath under water or hold his breath for an insane amount of time. Also dont forget he is super human.

Exactly right. He couldn't swim as a boy, but it seems he got the hang of it as a zombie.

How did he get to new york? 80's writing, that's how :D

reply

Best not to think about it. Nothing in this movie makes sense.

reply

I always pictured him walking along the ocean floor.

Jason seemed to have the ability to move at the speed of light in this one. That was one of the main things I didn't like about this movie apart from the awful ending.

Yeah Jason seemed to be able to teleport in this movie and swim for thousands of miles?!!! Makes no sense

reply

I absolutely hated the teleporting - It takes away the very essence of Jason's character to have him teleport around everywhere

reply

Nothing in this movie makes sense but I still liked it

reply

I don't know. Who taught Jason how to swim? We learned in the original that he drowned as a boy. I'm marking this down as a plot hole unless someone can prove me wrong

reply

Maybe Tina's father taught him.
