I called the company that supposedly has the rights to this movie, one person said she found it and that unfortunately it wasn't going to get re-released because it's not going to be sold as much, and that she would "put it on her notes that fans want this movie re-released", which I doubt. I called again a week later, some guy working there said he didn't find it in their data base anywhere (maybe he didn't even check), so I told him I think Paramount has the rights to show this on TV because TMC was passing this movie not too long ago in HD (wish I would've kept in in my DVR) so how come you just don't transfer than onto a Blu_ray/DVD and go from there. He said they couldn't do that because they didn't have the rights to it, (a minute ago he couldn't find it). Then I called once more a week from then, and told another woman the same thing, which she explained that if there was enough buzz on getting this re-released that they would. =) Sorry so long.
but then again, I'm not really sure...

Yeah..this movie was out for a short time when they released it on dvd...I bought it from tower records for 9.99...must have been about 8 years ago I'd guess. It must not have sold well the first time around for it to still be out of print.

lets hope for a scream factory release. they did such a good job on Halloween II & Halloween III. and on the commentary with Tommy Le Wallace, Sean Clark side he would love to see them do it and Wallace agreed.

Yeah...maybe they will re-release it. Halloween 1 and 3 look great.
