Heather Duke was the real villain
Chandler was "presented" as the main villain but things quickly go south for her and Duke is the one that emerges as the big bad and she proves to be even more devious than Chandler. I think she was also the better character overall.
She also doesn't exactly gets her comeuppance in the end which was interesting. In a way you could say she "won".
