Riggs bringing Rika home after the ambush


Why would he bring her home? Wouldn't that be the first place they would look for her? He should've went some place safe. They didn't just want him dead. They wanted her too. He should've never brought her to her place. They should've went somewhere safe. Maybe Riggs could've drove to the police station and told the captain what happened. He would've had her someplace safe and he would've had backup for Pete's sake. Instead, they killed her and almost killed him.

Yeah I agree, that wasn't a smart move at all. Then again, I don't think one should take this movie all too seriously. I love it for its quirks :)

Riggs and Murtaugh are not the brightest detectives. It was equally dumb for Roger to leave Leo, a witness under protective custody alone in a car at night without a door.

Well ironically, Leo did actually say I quote ' you cops aren't too bright Huh?' in the movie.
