How did Riggs survive ?
Cannot find an answer anywhere he got shot like 4-5 times ?
shareIn this world, you could say that Riggs was originally supposed to die, but the producers wanted to have him live to eke out more sequels, so essentially he had the power of Hollywood to miraculously save him. Besides, the Lethal Weapons aren't the most realistic series of movies out there.
But, if we treat the movie world as real life, many people have been shot more times than 4 or 5 and have survived. There are people that survived being shot more than 20 times. And Arjen was using a 7.63mm Mauser pistol, which wouldn't have the greatest stopping power, especially if he only had full metal jacket rounds. It's difficult to kill someone with handgun wounds unless the heart or brain is hit.
