They should have killed Riggs off at the end of the second movie, but...then they wouldn't have made a gazillion dollars on the sequels would they?

I LOVED the first one... I really liked the 2nd one... As I remember, I didn't care for the 3rd one (Going to watch that one again next... Haven't seen it since it first came out in the theaters) and I've never seen the 4th one, cause I just figured it would have sucked ass...

Shane Black, the writer of the first 2 movies, DID have Riggs dying at the end of 2 and when they changed his ending he walked away from the series

Yeah I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that the producers have no regrets about NOT killing Riggs...it would have been cooler for sure tho.

Also, Lethal Weapon 4 is definitely worth seeing for anyone that's a fan of the series...it's much more enjoyable than part 3 in my opinion.

I loved Lethal Weapon 4. Actually, it was the first movie of the series that I watched.

I really liked the first three movies, but thought the fourth was pretty forgettable when I saw it.

But then I re-watched it last summer and really enjoyed it. It continues the decline in seriousness from the third, but as long as you go with it it is good fun.

I enjoy the 4th much more than the 3rd
