Anyone else think ..
.. this was better than LW1? I do.
I know that these films have a comedic element running through them (especially in the later films) but I love how serious LW2 gets at the end. The reaction we get from Rigg’s after Patsy Kensit’s character is killed, it’s brilliant and very powerful. You really want the bad guys (and they are VERY bad) dead! You want revenge! I think the relationship between Rigg’s and Murtaugh’a characters is so much stronger in this film and the dynamic between them is spot on. Fantastic ending too, so satisfying. Great film.
