Ben Wright's final film. When he got the part of Grimsby, Prince Eric's butler, the erstwhile Disney folks had no idea that he had been the voices of Roger in 101 Dalmatians (1961) and Rama in The Jungle Book (1967). He had to tell them.

Does anybody remember why reading or hearing why it was important that Ben Wright had to tell the folks that was at Disney at the time of making this movie that he had already been the voice of Roger in 101 Dalmatians and Rama in the Jungle Book. I mean sure that they were at lot younger people that might not have cared one way or another if he had been in a Disney animated movie.

I guess if he told them, he figured they would've been more willing to hire him since he was essentially a Disney veteran.

It is a good guess and even better then mine but you can still wonder why he had to tell them
