Whatever happened to Weber?

After Weber & his goons kill First Base with a heavily weighted barbell, Frank Leone attempts to get even by fighting Weber in the prison yard, but fails to do Weber in with a weighted barbell as well. I am curious to know whatever happened to Weber, as that's the last we saw of him in this movie. My guess is that he spent time in the prison infirmary healing from his injuries, as I don't think the injuries he sustained in the fight were brutal enough to have killed him. Any thoughts?

No, the kid's "given" name in the movie was First Base. Weber was the prison yard boss who constantly harassed Frank Leone (Stallone). Weber killed First Base ("the kid") in the recreation room with a heavily weighted barbell. It turns out Warden Drumgoole was the one pulling the strings.

Leone: "What did they do with The Kid"(They sent him home man what do ya think)=They shipped First Base's body home in a casket. Nothing happened to *beep* My guess would be that after a thorough investigation of Warden Drumgoole, *beep* Weber was probably charged with killing First Base and got more time added to his current but then again he was under orders from Drumgoole to do something to fire up Leone to land him more time at Gateway so Weber can just simply say he was blackmailed.
