I agree with the Baltics, it looks just like Tallinn, Estonia!
Beautiful city, tall houses, tower, vista and parks.
Very very similar.

Indeed I see the similarities, but I tend to think it's more similar to Vienna and Prague
shareHi,
I was in Prague in August for the first time, I can see what you mean.
I was in Vienna in 2008, less like Vienna, but great art and the Euro 2008 atmosphere was cool! I arrived in Vienna via speed-cat along the Danube, I departed from Bratislava in historic Slovakia!

How was Bratislava? It is hilarious when people are surprised when they find out that Vienna and Bratislava are so close to each other. I also really would like to see Tallinn!
As a proud Pole I like to think maybe Krakow or Gdansk, but this may not be true :P
Not been to Gdansk yet but spent 5 memorable nights in Krakow and I was in Warsaw for the 20th Anniversary of independence in 2009.

It is Stockholm.
In the 80s, Miyazaki visited Sweden to meet with Astrid Lindgren to talk about the rights to make an animation of Pippi Longstocking. (Astrid turned him down I read, how stupid was THAT). But he loved the city so much he used it as a backdrop for this movie.
"I'd like to keep Spike as my pet"- Illyria, Angel S. 5
That was truly a bad move by Astrid. Instead we got that screamy terrible American animated Pippi, who is so far from the original as possible.
shareGotland's main town Visby, too. Swedish Baltic island. Wonderful town!
Nobody's perfect!
