Spiritual prequel to Prancer and Prancer Returns

There is a 1972 Christmas film called The House Without A Christmas Tree. I consider this film to be the spiritual prequel to Prancer and Prancer Returns.

There is no reindeer but otherwise the film is very similar to Prancer and to a lesser extent Prancer Returns. The entire film is on Youtube. Here is a link to the playlist:

You should watch this film, the reviews and ratings are high and it's one of the greatest films I've ever seen! Who here has seen this? O:-)

I have the dvd's for Prancer and Prancer Returns. I will buy the dvd for The House Without A Christmas Tree, maybe today, it's great!

There is a film called One Magic Christmas. Reminds me a lot of Prancer. It's on Netflix

I always feel like Prancer and One Magic Christmas are very similar, tonally, as well.
