Kirk Murders Sybok
Okay, Sybok jumps into the the God/Demon thing (we'll call him Ricky) and starts wrestling with the evil representation of himself. Kirk orders the ship to fire a photon torpedo and Kirk, Spock and McCoy jump out of the way (a few feet behind a rock, which somehow protects them from the torpedo blast...huh?). The smoke clears and Ricky is still there and mad as hell.
So Kirk buys some time to try and escape, but is willing to kill Sybok in the process?
