You should give this movie a look. This movie in my opinion is movie about nothing. It also stars Michel Richards playing a Kramer like charter before he was Kramer. It is a sad thing that this did not make as much money as it should have.

It's a movie about an UHF TV station, about an Extra-Terrestrial visitor, about a janitor that became a TV star, and about an old, angry, powerhungry man realizing that money and power doesn't make him happy.
It's about a gambling man, a hobo, a mobster and a mop.
There are plenty of things this movie is about. How can you say it's about nothing?
I don't think even Seinfeld was a show about nothing. There were plenty of things happening in it, and that the show was 'about'.
A show about nothing would just show a black screen without any audio, and nothing else. That would be a show about 'nothing'.
But I think closest to a 'show about nothing' would be Seinfeld's newer show, where he just showcases cars, and has coffee with some celebrities, and they just chitchat about trivial crap, and that's pretty much the whole show.
