That part always cracked me up for ages when I was a kid and I didn't even understand it. The conviction and the tension, and the way it was directed and edited, just brilliant.

A few years ago I saw "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0040897/) and now that part cracks me up all over again even more, even though it seems to reference a racial stereotype to some degree, it's hilarious.

i was in love with the line faaaar before i understood it too, but he made poodles fly, and to me, that dude could do no wrong, he also REALLY believed it when he said it. :)

Haha, i thought this line was hilarious as a kid, too. A truly great parody
is one that is funny even WITHOUT a frame of reference.
