I only saw the second season episodes. How do they compare to the first? I know there was a character named Larry, why was he dropped in season 2? It seems like the parents had a bigger role in season 1.

Also, what is supposed to be the point of Chris dying in every episode and then somehow coming back to life? was this part of season 1 as well?

The 2nd was quite different from the 1st season. The
1st season of the series seemed to focus more around Chris's
home life with his parents and his life with Larry who was
his best friend and no he didn't die in hardly any episodes
in season 1 if any.
